Supporting Female Farmers in Kyrgyzstan

In a country where rural women often lack access to financial tools, ADRA Kyrgyzstan launched an agricultural microfinance initiative aimed at empowering women-led farms. With 150 participants in its first cohort, the project distributed small loans and provided training in greenhouse management, crop rotation, and climate resilience.

“I never thought I could run a successful business,” says Gulnara, a single mother. “Now my tomatoes are feeding my family and selling at market.”
